Central Beach, located on Trukhaniv Island, is Kyiv's most popular public beach, offering stunning views of historic landmarks like Podil and Volodymyr Hill. Established in 1918, it features sandy shores, changing rooms, showers, and dining options. Visitors can enjoy swimming, sports, and nearby attractions such as a parachute tower and tennis courts. Access is primarily via the Pedestrian Bridge, built in 1957. Note that there will be no official beach season opening in 2026, as per the capital's Defence Council.
